Taylor Wimpey, Calderwood

We were proud to partner with Taylor Wimpey on their Calderwood development, delivering a premium roofing solution across 112 new-build units, plus additional garages and low-level roofs.

We supplied and installed Sandtoft Cassius and Modula roof tiles across the development, complete with all associated fittings, including cloaked verge detailing to all gables.

The use of high-end materials like Sandtoft Cassius and Modula required additional care and attention throughout installation. These premium products deliver a superior finish and demand skilled craftsmanship to achieve the intended result.

A key challenge was the cloaked verge specification. It must be exact from the outset, as any deviation impacts the alignment and finish at the gables. This required close co-ordination between our team and other trades on most plots, ensuring sequencing and accuracy were maintained throughout.

The houses handed over to Taylor Wimpey showcase a finish that simply cannot be achieved with standard, off-the-shelf products. The result is a development that stands out for its quality and the premium roofline aesthetic that reflects Taylor Wimpey's reputation for excellence and our high standards of workmanship on this project.
