McLean Roofing is Scotland's trusted roofing partner for leading housebuilders and developers. With over 150 years of industry expertise in the management team, we have established ourselves as the trusted partner of choice for some of the UK's leading housebuilders, including Barratt Redrow, Bellway, Cala and Taylor Wimpey.

Operating from our three regional offices in Paisley, Edinburgh and Dundee, we provide leading roofing and solar solutions across Scotland. We strive to and ensure our customers receive a consistent, high-quality service across all their developments. Our teams work closely with our customers from the initial design stage, through to project completion.

OUR HISTORY

McLean Roofing was founded with a clear vision: to become Scotland's most trusted roofing partner for housebuilders. Under the strong leadership of Chris McLean, our company has grown from ambitious beginnings to become a recognised name within Scotland's construction industry.

During the past 25 plus years our teams have built a strong reputation in the industry through the consistent delivery of high-quality roofing solutions and our commitment to excellence. Our journey has been marked by significant milestones and Quality awards. Over the course of an average year, 1 in 5 of our developments secure a NHBC Pride In The Job Award, a clear demonstration of our dedication to quality, which our customers value so highly. We consistently engage with our customers CQR scores to review, maintain and improve standards. We do this with our skilled roofing teams, in tandem with the pitched roof coverings, which provides increased productivity for our customers.

Our success has grown over the years and we have established three key regional offices across Scotland with senior Branch and Commercial Management at each. This enables us to deliver at major developments from the Highlands to the Borders. Our capacity allows us to serve local developer sites with local people, recognise regional nuances and reduce the footprint of our vehicles on the road.

Health and safety is paramount in everything we do at McLean Roofing. We understand that major housebuilders require contractors who not only talk about safety but demonstrate it through rigorous systems, continuous training and a strong commitment to protecting everyone on site. We are members of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and are accredited with SMAS (Worksafe Safety Management Advisory Services).

Our comprehensive health and safety management system ensures full compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices. We maintain detailed risk assessments for all our activities and implement robust control measures that protect our teams, our customers teams and the public.

We do not tolerate unsafe workplace scenarios and we are passionate about the safety of our incredible workforce.

OUR COMMITMENT

We believe in giving back to the communities where we work. Through initiatives such as The Kiltwalk and our sponsorship of two youth football teams, we enjoy supporting youth development in sport and positively promote well-being. Our team can often be seen at Charity Golf Days and Customer Dinner Dances raising much needed funds for charities such as Strathcarron Hospice, the Emmie Smillie Foundation and Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance which are vital to the communities we work in.
